Step one:
  • Start with a 781 px x 600 / #FFFFFF background canvas.
  • Create a new layer.
  • Set the foreground color to #E4E4E4 & background to #FFFFFF.
  • Now select the rectangular marquee tool and create a 26 height selection at the top of the canvas, use the linear gradient tool to add a light gradient.



    Step two:
  • Create a new layer-set, name it "Name & logo" and a new layer inside the layer-set.
  • Add your text and logo at the top of the canvas by the light gradient. In this tutorial I'm using arial font, bold italic, 14 pt, smooth and combination of this colors: #6FAD00 & #00415A.
  • Add the following layer styles.
