Step nine:

Add your navigation text again.

Add the following layer styles: Stroke.

Set layer's blending mode to Darken.



Step ten:

Select line tool from the main toolbar. Set weight to 3px and Uncheck anti-aliased.

In a new layer draw a white slanted line as show on the picture guide.

Add the following layer styles: Gradient Overlay.

Make copies for other navigation links.
